The Oud has been used from time to time to augment the sound of Flamenco. It can be very effective in setting the mood for certain guitar voice accompaniment as well as solely instrumental pieces. I love the sound. Thanks for sharing this video, Chris. Max |

The oud is played in a number of non majority -arab countries, spain, armenia, turkey, Israel, greece central asia , etc .Luv the sound. This gentleman in the vid is spot on. |
